Each time Sourcetree attempts to use my credentials for any account, OSX prompts me with a message informing me that 'SourceTree wants to use your confidential information stored in 'github.com' in your keychain' - If I hit 'Allow' or 'Always Allow', nothing happens. The dialog remains in-p. An SSH key is an access credential for the SSH (secure shell) network protocol. This authenticated and encrypted secure network protocol is used for remote communication between machines on an unsecured open network.SSH is used for remote file transfer, network management, and remote operating system access.

  6. Click Commit. The Commit message field appears with the message: supplyrequest created online with Bitbucket.

  7. Click Commit under the message field.

  1. The workaround was to go into the keychain via keychain access and delete the certificate for the repository stored for Sourcetree. Not exactly an obvious or user-friendly process.
